LATEST BEACH UPDATES & TRAINING SCHEDULE NEWS

Are you ready for the beach?  The wait is over, and we are all set to meet at the Baggy Point National Trust carpark WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS

Our 2016 beach training starts twice a week from Wednesday 14th May and Sunday 18th May through to September! (weather/sea conditions permitting) Please note new times for Weds 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start and finish at 8.15pm.  Sundays remain the same with a 4.15pm for 4.30pm start and finish at 6.00pm.

Make sure you are in your wetsuits with your orange club hats on, and you SIGN IN WITH YOUR BEACH GROUP  before heading off to the beach with everyone in your group. Parents/responsible adults please also sign in so the Coach knows who is responsible for each nipper or youth. We are hoping this quicker method of registration will speed everyone down to the beach so we can all enjoy our summer training.

Please note usually carparking is free at the National Trust carpark from 6pm on Weds, but you may be charged on Sundays unless you hold a current NT membership card. Please enquire at their hut about their summer parking offers.

IMPORTANT...Please remember -

  • to run the groups safely and effectively we need lots of adult help
  • You can offer to take a beach group register
  • You can pop on a wetsuit and help with a group

Want to swim it with us? Registration is free and you will be kept informed of the date and time as the event draws closer.  There will be a fee for the swim payable in cash on the day.  £10 for Croyde Surf Life Saving Club members, £20 for non-members.  This includes full safety cover, a swim hat and a warm welcome at the finish line.
