2010 SUMMER ADULT TRAINING
Some of you have expressed an interest in training with James and Ian ...well they are primed and ready to go. Get yer wetsuits on, pop on a pair of goggles and an orange club swim cap... and you could be enjoying the after-glow from a fun, fit, fearsome evening of exercise-related endorphins....oooer. When is it? Join James on Fridays 7.15pm - 9pm approx where? at the club hut, near the national trust carpark... and then with Ian on Mondays 7th June onwards same time, same place.
CURRENT COURSE DETAILS
We train young people and adults to the high standard of Beach Lifeguard, providing the professionals working on the beach, with skilled personnel to help man and patrol our challenging beaches. Additionally, we train members in First Aid and, as a club, boast an exemplary group of voluntary First Aiders who undertake responsibilities under the FIRST RESPONDER scheme run by Westcountry Ambulance.

CROYDE SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB 2010 SUMMER COURSES
The Club will be running courses in Lifesaving, First Aid and Emergency Response Techniques. Please contact Richard 890101, Dez 890556 or James 890617 for more info. Any committed, full member from age 14 through to any age adult will be welcome. youngsters can use their lifesaving awards in their gcse sports assessments, and adults can apply their first aid knowledge in the workplace, or go on to apply for employment using their internationally- recognised lifesaving award. When? Starting Tuesday 13th April from 7pm prompt to 9pm weekly, Where? at "Breakers", Down End, Croyde.
NATIONAL POOL LIFEGUARD QUALIFICATION COURSE
AGE : - 16 + PRE - REQUISITES : - YOU MUST BE OF A REASONABLE STANDARD IN SWIMMING. (THERE ARE 2 TIMED SWIM/RESCUES IN THE EXAM) VENUE : - SOUTH MOLTON SWIMMING POOL DATES : - MONDAY 15TH FEBRUAY TO SATURDAY 20TH FEBRUAY2010 (FEBRUARY HALF TERM) TIMES : - 8AM TO 5PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY. 8AM TO 1/2PM ON SATURDAY (EXAM DAY) COST : - £180. THIS INCLUDES EXAM FEES AND THE COURSE MANUAL. If interested please ring the pool on 01769 572522 and ask to talk to Clare Farrow or Bryan Smith. Please make sure you leave a message and a contact number with staff if Clare or Bryan are not at the pool. This qualification is recognised in almost all public swimming pools & leisure/holiday parks so there is a chance when qualified that you could get work with this award.
